Dr. William J. Henderson D.V.M.

Dr. Henderson graduated form Colorado State University in 1969.  Moving to San Pedro, California, he worked at South Shores Pet Clinic for 2 years.  He opened Plaza Pet Clinic in Torrance, California and began with 20 other Veterinarians to start the Torrance Emergency Clinic. Dr Henderson moved to Escondido, California in 1978 and opened Parkway Pet Clinic.

Dr. Henderson has been actively involved in community services including starting an RX program fro pets at Palomar Hospital.  In addition to his community involvement, Dr. Henderson was on the air for 8 years with Shannon Schaeffer with Doggy Tech doing radio commentary involving pet health - answering questions from listeners.  Currently Dr. Henderson supports local Hospice and Serenity House. He is a member of the Escondido Rotary Club.

Dr. Henderson and his wife of 35 years Judy have 2 daughters ( Tya and Alia ) and 1 son ( Haggan).

Dr. Tya Henderson D.V.M.

 

Dr. Tya Henderson graduated with Honors from Atlantic Veterinary School.  She has been practicing at Parkway Pet Clinic with her father for the last 3 years.  Before veterinary school, Dr. Henderson practiced as a veterinary technician for 7 years.

She holds degrees in Chemistry and Philosophy from UCSD. In addition, she holds a Biochemistry degree from Cal Poly San Luis Obispo.  Her Doctorate is from Atlantic Veterinary College, externship and post-doctorate training includes rotations in: Cardiology, Emergency Medicine, Laparoscope, Ultrasound and Orthopedic Surgery.

 She enjoys outdoor activities such as skiing, walking on the beach, running with her dog Max and traveling with her husband, Brent.  Dr. Henderson sees your pet as part of the family and provides the highest quality compassionate care.

 

Dr. Jason T. Miller D.V.M.

A Native San Diegan, Dr. Miller started working at Parkway Pet Clinic in 2004.  He received his doctorate of Veterinary Medicine from Ross University.  His areas of special interest are laparoscopy and small animal pain management.  In his spare time, Jason enjoys spending time with his family, going to the beach, and traveling.
